The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its 18th Harvest Festival Saturday in downtown Clear Lake.
The fall fun included vendors, wine tasting, a 5K walk/run and a variety of contests. Winners were:
•Pole Decorating: first place, Central Gardens ($150 Chamber Bucks); second, McKesson ($75 Chamber Bucks); third, Hall Realty ($50 Chamber Bucks).
•Salsa winners: first place Mild, John Diaz ($150 Chamber Bucks); first place Medium, Bob Welper ($75 Chamber Bucks); first place Hot, Mike Ostermann ($50 Chamber Bucks).
•Champagne 5k: first, Ryan Smith; second, Caleb Good; third, Matt Good.
•Best of Wine winners: first, Stone Cliff Winery with Strawberry Rhubarb; second, Van Wijk Winery with Peach Mead; third, Ardon Creek with Johanna.
•Guess the Cork winners: Large container, MacKenzie Patrick, gift basket; Small container, Harper Mehmen, gift basket.
•Grape Stomp Winners: The Winona Winos, Craig & Cristen Schultz ($100 Chamber Bucks)
