Clabaugh was known for his footwork and was considered the best ball handler on the team, according to the coach.  Clabaugh scored six goals and 16 points in nine conference games.

“He has smart soccer IQ and played both middle and outside midfielder,” said Hall.  “In addition to great technique/footwork he was a great goal scorer with lots of speed.  He always wanted to be on the field contributing.”

Mixdorf played midfield for the Lions and was credited with six goals and 13 points.

“He was the quarterback of the team at center midfield with Ben Wolfe,” explained Coach Hall.  “He was a great team leader, with excellent vision and passing to get through to the forwards or outside mids.  He was a smart soccer player who had a good habit of being in the right place at the right time.”

Korenberg was another speedy outside midfielder with lots of soccer IQ, according to his coach.  He was the team leader in assists with six.  He scored five goals and 16 points during the conference season.
