It was a good night to be Jaden Ainley when the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) women’s basketball team met Southeast Community College (SECC) Nov. 3 at DMACC.
Ainley, a former CLHS standout, led the Bears on field goal attempts, going 10-for-16 and scoring a team-high 27 points as the Bears defeated SECC 87-80.
Ainley was perfect from the free throw line as well, making all four shots, which helped the Bears improve to 1-1 on the season.
In their first contest this season, the Bears fell 61-59 to Rochester Community and Technical College where Ainley put up 11 points and grabbed six rebounds, while leading the Bears with three steals.
