The Minnesota Autism Center (MAC) in Minnetonka, Minn. and One Vision in Clear Lake, are excited to announce MAC’s pending acquisition of the Children’s Autism Center (CAC) effective Dec. 1, 2023.
Founded in 2013 by One Vision, the Children’s Autism Center has provided ABA therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder. The acquisition expands the resources available to families impacted by autism in Northern Iowa by adding new services to the area, including autism diagnostic services, family and individual psychotherapy, speech and occupational therapy, and telehealth services.
MAC is a 501c3 non-profit founded in 1996 by parents seeking the absolute best in autism services for their families. MAC has since grown from one to 19 locations across Minnesota, with a focus on expanding resources in underserved areas. This will be MAC’s first location in Iowa.
This acquisition resulted from a partnership that began in April of 2022, when One Vision entered into a business consulting agreement with MAC to provide consulting services to the Children’s Autism Center. The consulting focused on technology support, intake processes, and operational efficiencies focused on ensuring the long-term sustainability of autism services in North Iowa.
