World Team wrestlers and coach to hold clinic in Clear Lake

A youth wrestling clinic coming to Clear Lake will allow the young athletes to work with Bill Zadick, Mason Parris and Joe Colon.

Zadick, a USA Wrestling World Team head coach along with Parris, a World Team medalist, and Colon, a Clear Lake native and World Team medalist, will work with the youth in hands-on training in the two-day clinic.

Scheduled for Nov. 11 and 12, the event is open to first through 12th grade wrestlers. Attendees will receive a water bottle, hat, drawstring bag, signed poster and Q&A time with the USA Wrestling representatives.

“Wrestling has been very important to our family and our employees,” said Joe Pritchard, Pritchard Companies President & CEO. “When we partnered with USA Wrestling, we wanted to bring the top coaches and athletes to North Iowa so our young athletes and their families could get exposure to the pinnacle of this sport. Meeting World Champions and having the opportunity to learn and interact with them is an experience we want our customers and surrounding communities to experience and remember for the rest of their lives.”

Registration is open now. Registrants must be active members of USA Wrestling and sign-up with the organization can be done at the same time as event registration at: https://www.usawmembership.com/login.
