The Clear Lake Lion boys tennis team is off to a great start, going 2-0 in its first two matches of the season against Hampton-Dumont-CAL and Webster City.

The Lions traveled to Hampton to face the Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs where the Lions won 7-2.
Winning for the Lions was: Leif Lundberg (10-8), Isaac Smith (10-6), Hayden Pals (10-8), Hayden Shear (10-0).
Levi Reynolds fell 10-7 and Walker Williams lost 10-5.
In doubles, the Lions secured three wins.
Lundberg and Williams won 10-3, Reynolds and Smith won 10-6 and Pals and Shear won 10-4.

Webster City 0
The Lions traveled to Webster City and came out with a 9-0 victory.
The Lions won all six matches in singles and all three in doubles.
Lundberg (10-0), Reynolds 10-8), Williams (10-0), Smith (10-0), Pals (10-0), Shear (10-1).
In doubles Lundberg and Williams won 10-2, Reynolds and Smith won 10-0 and Shear and Pals won 10-0.
