The Clear Lake Lion boys tennis squad fell in a close match to the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets last Tuesday, April 23, by a 5-4 contest.
The Lions won in singles 4-2, but lost in doubles 3-0.
Winning in singles was Leif Lundberg, 10-2, Walker Williams, 10-10 (7-4), Hayden Pals, 10-7 and Hayden Shear, 10-5.
Levi Reynolds and Isaac Smith lost, 10-7 and 10-5, respectively.
In doubles Lundberg and Williams lost, 10-6, Reynolds and Smith lost 10-7 and Pals and Shear lost 10-10 (7-1).
