The Clear Lake eSports team made it to the state competition last week where they faced Osage in a battle of Super Smash Bros.
For those unfamiliar with Super Smash Bros, it is a fighting game in which Nintendo characters from games such as Mario, Zelda, Pokemon etc., fight to be the last one standing.
Clear Lake fell to Osage, however, in the bracket in which Forest City took home the championship.
In the battle for third place, the Lions faced West Delaware but again lost in the consolation bracket.
