Last Monday, the Clear Lake Lion baseball team picked up a win against Mason City by a score of 11-5.
That win was nullified later though, after it was determined that the Lions played with an ineligble player which caused a forced forfeit and Mason City receiving the win instead.
The Lions bounced back on Wednesday, against New Hampton.

The Lion boys were hosting an exciting non-conference game against the West Fork Warhawks on Monday when mother nature had other plans.
Both teams were seeing hits and plenty of quick plays in the infield. At the top of the fourth inning, West Fork had just jumped ahead of the Lion squad, 5-3, before lightning moved in and canceled the game.
There has been no word on whether the game will be restarted at a later date or just canceled. As of now, the Lions sit at 1-1 on the season.
The Lions will face Iowa Falls-Alden next Wednesday, May 29.
