Clear Lake sent a pair of co-ed golfers to the State Co-ed meet recently as Meghan DeLong and Eli Anderson looked to defend their Co-ed Title from last year.
Moving up a class to 2A the two veterans would have a little different competition this season.
Also competing were newcomers in Elle Ebeling and Gavin Roske.
Held at Indianola Country Club, the Lions left everything out on the course.
DeLong and Anderson shot a 78, struggling a little on the back nine after shooting one over on the front, ending up 12th overall.
Meghan ends her career with two state co-ed titles in four years.
Ebeling and Roske had a few bad holes that brought their game down, however, both players were new and didn’t have a terrible game, overall.
Shooting an 86, and placing 41st overall, the young golfers look to improve and be back next season.
