Making the best of sub-zero temperatures

If there is one good thing about sub-zero temperatures (and there’s probably only one!) it’s that city crews are finally able to make some progress on the Marian Park Ice Rink.  Parks leader Jim Jackson said it takes about 40-hours to create a rink on top of the packed snow used as a base.  Water was being sprayed Tuesday morning, so by week’s end the rink should be ready. -Reporter photo by Chris Barragy.
