The Clear Lake Pickleball Club was well represented at the Mason City Pickleball Classic, held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 7-9. Over a dozen Clear Lake players competed in singles, mixed doubles, women’s doubles and men’s doubles.
The Mason City Pickleball Club had over 220 players from 10 states competing in the tournament.
Clear Lake competitors who placed in the tournament include:
•Mixed Doubles 3.0: second place, Jeff Bertz and Amy Pyle; and third place, Pam and Doug Kellogg.
•Men’s Doubles 3.5: third place, Dave Sloan and Joe Tumulak.
•Women’s Doubles 3.0: second place, Pam Kellogg and Amy Pyle.
•Men’s Doubles 3.0: second place, Jack Topp and Dan Lincicum.
•Men’s Singles 3.5: second place, Abdi Ahari; and third place, Nick Plagge.
