Eagle Grove Elementary going virtual for three days

Eagle Grove Area School District Superintendent Jess Toliver just announced that the administration has decided that Eagle Grove Elementary will be switching to virtual learning this Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 11 – 13.

“This is for the elementary only,” he stated as he explained that as of today, Nov. 9, the elementary has 30% of it’s staff gone. However, he noted that the absences are not all COVID-related.

The administration is hoping that by taking these three days off, and having the weekend added on, will allow for more staff to return on Monday so classes can resume in-person once again.

Remember, this is only for the elementary students. High school and middle school students will continue regular classes as they are now.
