There’s been a lot of changes and cancellations going on with COVID, but one thing that’s still happening is the free Eagle Grove Community Thanksgiving Feast…but there ARE a few changes you’ll want to make note of.
Eagle Grove Chamber Director Sara Middleton announced that they have decided there will be no in-house dining this year. Instead, they are asking that you order a meal “to go.” It can be picked up at the Evangelical Lutheran Church on the Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26 or delivered between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. You can reserve your meal by calling the Chamber office at 448-4821 to place your order. Leave your name and phone number if no answer.
Again, this Community Thanksgiving Feast is free of charge, but donations are always appreciated (but never required). Funds received from this meal will go back into the community.
If you would like to volunteer to help prepare the meal, package carry out orders, or make deliveries, your help would be greatly appreciated. Please call the Chamber to add your name to the list of volunteers.
