“We came out solid on offense and were able to break their press,” stated head coach Mike Herrington. “We may have looked a bit better than Dike anticipated. In the second quarter we hurried our shots. Dike took the ball inside to take advantage of their height. They either worked it in to their low post girl or kicked it back out for a three. They were patient of offense, and will be a tough out for anyone they face down the road. We got back into it a bit in the third quarter. We just didn’t get a lot of shots up for the game. We did do a good job of rebounding consider their height advantage. We played with the best determination we could, and just didn’t back down. It was a good night for the seniors.”
