Wright County Charitable Foundation conducts spring granting ceremony

Grants awarded to 22 projects across the county totaling $50,000.

On June 22, 2021, Wright County Charitable Foundation (WCCF) held its Spring Granting Ceremony. Held at the Rowan Community Center at 5:30 p.m., the foundation awarded $50,000 to 22 projects county-wide. Since the first granting period in Spring 2006, the Wright County Charitable Foundation has granted $1,274,384.00 to 639 projects and causes across Wright County.

The WCCF Grant Committee reviews each grant application. After their deliberations, the grant committee makes their recommendations, with all grants receiving final approval by the full WCCF Board of Directors.

Wright County Economic Development (WCED) administers grants for WCCF, and grant applications can be obtained online at the county’s web site, http://www.wrightcounty.org or by contacting wced@co.wright.ia.us.
