Students, staff, parents, and community members have spoken. They have chosen their favorite new Eagle Grove Schools logo, and the winner is…Option C.
Option C is the closest version to the existing school logo with a few modifications made to ensure there are no copyright infringements as the old logo was very close to that of the Philadelphia Eagles national football team.
With a total of 339 votes cast, Option C received 53% of the votes (180). Taking second place, receiving 100 votes, was Option A (circular shape with claw marks). In third place, with only 59 votes, was option B (badge-shaped and no claw marks).
Changes to the logo will not happen immediately, but over time as uniforms are replaced, floors are repainted, and new banners are made. It will, however, appear immediately on any new apparel that is ordered.
Now that the decision has been made, there’s one thing that will probably get 100% of the votes…getting out there and cheering on your Eagle Grove Eagle athletes. Please come decked out in your purple and gold and fill the football stadium, pack the volleyball stands, and line the path for the cross country runners this fall season. They need your support and will appreciate you being there.
