From Eagle Grove Chief of Police Ray Beltran
On August 31, 2021, a vehicle was observed by an Eagle Grove Police Officer with a brake light out. The driver of the vehicle then almost hit a parked car as well as the officer’s vehicle. A chase began at N. Jackson St. in Eagle Grove and ended 1 ½ miles outside the city limits on Davis Ave. The subject fled into a field and has not been located at this time. No items were thrown out the window. It is still an open investion.
