The Eagle Grove Eagles hosted the triangular on Dec. 16, as they went 2-1that night while they, as Coach Jacob Groth explains, “tied our dual wins record from last year with five. Proud of the boys for the passion and the fight tonight! That was a lot of fun with our home crowd, wrestlers, and coaches all as one.”

The Eagle Grove Eagles traveled to Newman Catholic High School where they battled Newman Catholic, Saint Ansgar, and North Butler. The Eagles conquered a 3-0 record by the end of the night, walking out with a victorious, undefeated result. “Had a real close dual with Newman Catholic but pulled it out!” said Coach Jacob Groth, as he praised Eagle Grove’s successful night.
The Eagles wrestling squad will be seeking another win at their next meet as they will battle multiple schools at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Thursday, January 6, at 6 PM.
