The final standings from the 63rd annual Boys Dodger Relays, held at Fort Dodge's Dodger stadium on Monday, April, 11th left Eagle Grove in a disappointing 8th place of 9 overall. There were, however, some standout performances for Eagle Grove's athletes, both individually, and as relay teams.
Eagle Grove athletes ranked in the top ten scorers in five of the overall individual competitions. And also scored one near miss.
Junior Cayden Schultz took 5th place in the high jump, scoring 5-10.00. Junior Tate Richardson took 8th place in the 200 meter dash, with a time of 24.49 seconds. Senior Gabriel Binkerd took 8th place in the Discus competition, with a throw of 107-00.00. Back in the 200 meter dash, Junior John Pamperin took 10th place with a time of 25.12 seconds. And in the long jump freshman Patrick Heaton almost scored 10th place with a leap of 18-00.25, barely outdone by Boone senior Majak Majack's jump of 18-01.50.
