Eagle Grove Police Officers take a stand against cancer

The Eagle Grove Police Department will be wearing special uniform shirts this month to show their support for all those fighting cancer, or who have lost loved ones to the disease. "October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Eagle Grove Police Department wants to support our Mayor, Sandy McGrath, and all who have faced cancer in our community," noted EGPD Chief Ray Beltran "One in eight women will  develop breast cancer in the United States in their lifetime. The EGPD officers will be wearing the shirts with the pink logo to show our community we support them in their battle with cancer," Beltran added.
