Matt Shannon, Manager of the Eagle Grove Fareway grocery store, presents Eagle Grove Scout Scoutmaster Rick Dawson and Scout Michael Umthun with a check for $752, which the scouts raised in partnership with the local Fareway for the local food pantry. The scouts also recently collected food for the hungry at the Fareway, filling a canoe with donations five times. Dawson offered "s huge thank you to our community" for their generosity.
