RBMS student art on display at Jordan Creek Mall

Art by three local students included in Iowa's Top 200 show

The Jordan Creek Town Center shopping mall in West Des Moines is the largest shopping complex in Iowa, and the fourth largest in the midwest, and in the top 25 malls in the United States – with over 1.3 million square feet, according to Wikipedia. The mall is also known for public displays of art.

Throughout this month, artworks from the top 200 student artists are on display at the mall. And among the works on display are three, shown here, from Robert Blue Middle School student artists Rae Muzzey, Lola Kreitlow and Salem Willard. "Congratulations to these three middle school students," said RBMS art teacher Brandi Wesselink, who had all three in her class. They, along with other student artists from around the state, will be honored at an awards ceremony and reception at the mall, which will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 25th.
