Team performances more muddy
The Eagle boys track team trekked up to Forest City on Thursday April 13th for the Forest City boys relays, and then over to Algona for the Hackbarth Relays in the golden hour of the evening on May Day.
Standout performances in the Forest City relays included:

Senior Cayden Schultz's 1st place run in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.93, and 2nd place run in the 100 meter dash, with a time of 12.10.

Freshman Landon Mrla's 2nd place leap in the Long Jump of 9 feet, 1.5 inches.

Schultz's first place leap in the high jump, with a height of 6 feet 2 inches.

Freshman Syrus Willard's leap of 6 feet even, tied for second place in the High Jump
Standout performances in the Hackbarth relays included:

Senior Cayden Schultz's 1st place run in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.12, and his 2nd place run in the 100 meter dash, just two hundredths of a second off first place, with a time of 12.05.

Freshman Landon Mrla's 2nd place finish in the long jump, with a leap of 9-03.00 – his personal best to date.

Senior Cayden Schultz first place leap in the High Jump, of 6 feet even.

Freshman Syrus Willard's 4th place jump in the High Jump of 5-10.00 – which was just two inches shy of a three way tie for 2nd place.
In hurdles the Eagles consistently brought up the rear, with the exception of the 110 meter hurdles in Forest City, where they finished in the middle. In shot put and discus, however, the Eagles finished last in both meets. In relays the Eagles generally finished near the middle of the pack, although they finished last in the 800 meter relay in Algona.
