Our first meeting of the year covered many issues and questions to be answered.Most important were the open council seat needing filled and the issue of moving to five at large instead of our current structure of six council( two at large and four wards).
Whether we have another election, or a board appointment will be answered in coming weeks, depending on council decisions.The issue of structure will also be addressed by council.
The first of the year also brings up the budget.The council and city staff will be working on the budget through several workshops over the next couple months, covering fiscal 2024 through June of 2025.
Residents of Park View Drive will see road repair this year along with park improvements in their area.
Many other projects and challenges will be facing the council this year.Please reach out to your council representative on questions or concerns.
