AMES, Iowa — Representatives from nonprofits, governmental entities and school districts are invited to “Grant Proposal Boot Camp: Workshopping Your Proposal from Start to Finish,” facilitated by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development.
This event is scheduled for Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at ISU Extension and Outreach Woodbury County, located at 4728 Southern Hills Drive in Sioux City. The workshop is tailored for individuals working on a grant-ready project proposal.
Community and Economic Development Specialist Lindsay Henderson highlighted the collaborative and accelerated nature of the workshop, stating, “Our workshop provides real-time feedback in a focused setting, aiding attendees in crafting proposals with greater confidence.”
Grant Proposal Boot Camp offers in-depth guidance on essential topics such as methodology, logic models and budgeting.
To fully benefit from the hands-on experience, attendees should come to the workshop with an existing fundable project in mind, even if it’s just at the idea stage. Participants are also encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet to facilitate the drafting process.
