Eagle Grove’s own gallery and creative space Studio Sol held a Finger Painted Flowers class on Sunday, which was a real hit! The class was held at Studio Sol, at 113 W. Broadway on Sunday, and open to the first 14 participants to show up.
Each participant got an 11×14 canvas and paints to work with, and gloves if desired, plus guidance from artist in residence Sara Middleton, helping them all to create gorgeous works of art full of “bright, beautiful flowers,”which are “loose, playful, expressive, and so much fun to make,” as Middleton put it, to decorate their spaces with. All for just $20!
Every participant’s painting turned out great, proving once again that art really is for everyone in Eagle Grove.
