Following parent teacher conferences held earlier in the afternoon, the Eagle Grove Elementary school held a Health Fair Monday night, at which area healthcare agencies and businesses were available to answer questions, and offering fun activities and useful swag.
Exhibitors included Iowa Specialty Hospitals, the Community Health Center of Eagle Grove, Eagle Grove Chiropractic, Upper Des Moines Opportunity of Wright County (UDMO), the Eagle Grove EMS Service, Lazy J Rescue Ranch, Studio Sol, the Iowa Department of Public health, and Eagle Grove Special Olympics.
Fun activities included a ball toss game, crafting, a glitter hand washing activity, learning about animal health, and more. swag items such as eyeglass cases, toothbrushes, notepads, stress balls, stickers, healthy snacks, and educational materials were on offer freely to all.
