Students Duck and Dive at Annual Dodgeball Tourney

Last Saturday, the Eagle Grove Student Council organized another successful event for their school and town. Participants of all ages took part in everyone’s favorite (or least favorite) PE activity at the annual dodgeball tournament.

The festivities were open to the public and featured competition brackets for grades 5-8, 9-12, and adults/community members. All money raised goes towards student and community events that the “StuCo” hosts each year.

Anthony Wubben, The Student Council Advisor, showered praise on his team’s efforts in bringing the event together.

“I am very proud of our students and the work that they have put into student council this year,” said Wubben. “It being my first year – I didn’t know what to expect. The students have helped me learn several EGHS traditions, as well as start new traditions.”

Be on the lookout for more Student Council sponsored events, including a blood drive on April 30th.
