Iowa PBS’s Studio 3 LIVE welcomes country music artist Halle Kearns

JOHNSTON, Iowa — Country music performer Halle Kearns will take the Studio 3 LIVE stage for season 2 of the Iowa PBS music series celebrating up-and-coming artists from all musical genres in a live-music setting. This Studio 3 LIVE concert will be recorded in front of a live audience on Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at Iowa PBS in Johnston.

Kearns is a native of Columbia, Missouri, and has been making waves in the country music scene since her debut in 2020. This episode of Studio 3 LIVE, hosted by Mickey Davis, will premiere on statewide Iowa PBS during fall 2024.

“We’re thrilled to have Halle Kearns join us for this edition of Studio 3 LIVE,” said Davis. “Her powerful vocals and songwriting talents have already earned her a devoted following, and viewers will get an up-close look at her artistry when this episode airs.”

Studio 3 LIVE showcases local, regional and national artists performing original sets and sharing their musical journeys. Iowa PBS is offering local music lovers an opportunity to experience this intimate, live concert recording session as a member of the studio audience. Attendees will be seated onstage and can expect to be immersed in the energetic atmosphere of a live concert performance. Attendance during season 2 production is free, but stage seating is very limited and must be reserved in advance. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the hour-long recording session beginning shortly after.
