Wright County, IA – The Wright County Charitable Foundation (WCCF) hosted its 2024 Granting Ceremony on Wednesday, April 10th at the Belmond-Klemme High School auditorium. A reception was held in their honor starting at 5 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 5:30 p.m. During the event, the foundation awarded $113,429.60 to 49 Wright County projects. Since the first granting period in Spring 2006, the Wright County Charitable Foundation has granted $1,812,226.35 to 767 projects and causes across Wright County.
Prior to the awards ceremony, the WCCF Grant Committee reviews each grant application. After their deliberations, the grant committee makes their recommendations, with all grants receiving final approval by the full WCCF Board of Directors.
