EAGLE GROVE, Iowa – With the Super Bowl approaching, the Eagle Grove Police Department reminded residents of increased traffic enforcement planned for February 9.

The department will participate in the “Super Bowl Enforcement” initiative, which targets impaired and reckless driving.

“People tend to have a lot of gatherings for families and a lot of people get on the road,” said Chief Ray Beltran of the EGPD. “And so they’ve got to drive safely.”

The initiative will be promoted on the city’s social media channels and website in the coming days.
