EAGLE GROVE, Iowa — The local elementary school is turning old toys into new art, and they’re asking the community to help by donating unwanted or broken toys.

Art teachers are requesting items such as plastic toys, action figures, dolls, cars, puzzles, board games, and game pieces. Any small, safe, and appropriate items that can be repurposed into art projects are welcome.
Donations can be dropped off directly at the elementary school office, or students can bring items to the art room during school hours.
Organizers emphasize that the initiative promotes both creativity and sustainability by transforming unwanted toys into recycled art projects. It’s a fun, eco-friendly way to clear clutter and support local art education.
The school appreciates community support in helping students explore upcycled art.
