Eagles Host 65th Annual Umstead Relays

On April 8, the EGHS boys track and field squad hosted the 65th annual Umstead Relays at Eagle Grove Elementary. Athletes contended with a 15 mph wind late in the afternoon, but spectators from Algona, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, Forest City, Iowa Falls, Humboldt, Webster City, Belmond-Klemme, Central Springs, Lake Mills, Manson Northwest Webster, Newman Catholic, St. Edmond, and West Hancock still packed the stands to watch their schools go head to head. 

Eagle Grove competed in Class A and finished 7th with 17 team points. Algona (145), Humboldt (131), and Webster City (99) all placed in the top-3.
