Jeske Earns 1st At Home Meet

On Thursday afternoon, the girls track team hosted Algona, Bishop Garrigan, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Fort Dodge, Garner-Hayfield-Ventura, Newman Catholic, St. Edmond, Webster City, and West Hancock on a windy night in Eagle Grove. As a team, Eagle Grove finished ninth with 34 team points. 

Addy Jeske would leap for 17’0” in the long jump for first place and the best jump of her career. Jeske would also lead off 4×100 (55.67) and 4×200 (2:00) teams that included Mya Morgan, Ellie Lenning, and Taytum Edwards. Both relays came in fourth place.

Myka Anderson sped through the 400m hurdles in 1:21.88 for fourth, and Edwards finished third in the open 200 with a time of 28.61.
