On Tuesday, the Eagle Grove girls golf team battled Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and South Hamilton at Oak Ridge Golf Course in Goldfield. The Eagles had five of the meet’s top six golfers and won handily with a low score of 204. The Cowgirls finished second with 246, and the Hawks took third with 271.
Senior Piper Willard was the medalist at the triangular and shot a 48. Azlyn Amonson and Kennedy Thacker tied for second place after both scoring a 50, and freshman Salem Willard was Eagle Grove’s final scorer with a 56.
Caitlin Christopher had a 60 for sixth, and junior Lily Locke shot a 73 in Goldfield.
