WRIGHT COUNTY, Iowa — Wright County Farm Bureau (WCFB) members have until April 30 to complete and submit the organization’s 2025 “Opinionnaire”, which represents the opportunity of locals to give their input on local, state and national agricultural policy. The online survey is open to regular (farmer) members, who may also request a paper version by contacting the WCFB office at (515) 532-3280.

“Please take a few minutes to complete and submit the survey,” WCFB urged in a recent Facebook post. “If you wish to receive a paper copy of the Opinionnaire, you may contact the WCFB office.”

The Opinionnaire process allows members to weigh in on pressing issues, helping set the agenda for resolutions that will be drafted and debated during a summer policy meeting.

This year’s effort follows a successful membership campaign that brought total paid memberships to 980 as of March 31, including 78 new members. The organization expressed gratitude to both new and returning members who support Farm Bureau’s mission.

“We extend a warm welcome to our new members and heartfelt thanks to those who renewed their membership,” the group posted, adding that member feedback through the Opinionnaire plays a vital role in policy development.

April also marks National Volunteer Month, and WCFB used the occasion to spotlight the many individuals who serve their communities through acts of service.

“The Wright County Farm Bureau extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers who generously give their time to support agriculture and the Farm Bureau organization,” the group posted. Volunteers recognized included EMS personnel, firefighters, and community members involved in schools, churches, and local events.

WCFB continues to encourage civic engagement through both membership and volunteerism, emphasizing that grassroots involvement remains central to its work.
