EAGLE GROVE, Iowa — A new event aimed at bringing life and commerce to downtown Eagle Grove is set to launch this summer, as the Eagle Grove Chamber of Commerce announced the debut of “Saturday Sidewalk Sales.”
In a Facebook post this week, the Chamber described the event as an exciting opportunity for both shoppers and local businesses. “Vendors will line the sidewalks with sales, treats, and treasures,” the Chamber wrote. “Local businesses are encouraged to open their doors—or even set up outside!”
Scheduled to run on Saturdays throughout the summer, the event is designed to make downtown Eagle Grove a destination for residents and visitors alike. Vendor spots are free for current Chamber members, and available for just $10 per day for non-members.
“We’re now accepting registrations for vendors and food trucks,” the post noted, linking to an online registration form and inviting interested parties to contact the Chamber Office directly.
Participants who register will receive additional details via email. Chamber members are encouraged to reach out for specific instructions.
The Chamber hopes the Saturday Sidewalk Sales will create a festive atmosphere and boost foot traffic for downtown businesses. “Let’s make downtown the place to be this summer!” the Chamber concluded.
