Lady Eagles Show Out In Clarion

On Tuesday, the EGHS girls track team took a short trip to Clarion to compete in the annual Cowgirl Relays. Twelve schools were at the meet, and the purple and gold placed fifth overall with 174 points. Clarion-Goldfield-Dows earned fourth with 184. 

Addy Jeske took first in the long jump (16’3”), and Addison Eittreim had a new PR in the high jump (4’6”) for fourth place. Rynn Ettinger tossed the discus a season best 87’9” for fourth.

The sprint medley team of Holly Anderson, Crystal Flores, Mya Morgan, and Myka Anderson finished in 2:08.7 and placed third. Myka also placed fifth in the 100m hurdles and Ellie Lenning sprinted for sixth in the 100m dash. 

A new 4×400 relay group of Aubreigh Miller, Myka Anderson, Lenning, and Jeske finished in 4:44.3 for bronze.
