WRIGHT COUNTY, Iowa — Contractors working on Bridge 210 are making steady progress, according to an April 30 update from Wright County Secondary Roads. The crew has begun installing falsework as they prepare to pour the bridge deck.
Falsework, in construction, refers to the temporary supports and framework used to hold up parts of the structure until the concrete sets and can bear weight on its own.
If weather conditions cooperate, the contractor expects to complete placement of the falsework, tie the rebar, and pour the bridge deck within the next few weeks.
