On Friday, the EGHS track and field team competed at the South Hardin Boys Invite in Eldora.
A sprint medley foursome of Leelan Spencer, Syrus Willard, Patrick Heaton, and Anthony Vasquez clocked in at 1:47.48 for silver. Individually, Leelan Spencer would have a 2nd place finish in the 100 (11.43) and a 3rd place finish in the 400 (55.18). Syrus Willard cleared six feet in the high jump to bring home a 1st place medal.
The boys compiled 86 points for 4th place out of seven schools. South Hardin won their home meet with 159, followed by Collins Maxwell (105) and Gilbert (104).
