Eagle Grove’s boys track and field team concluded their 2025 season last Thursday night in Garner. The boys competed against Belmond-Klemme, Central Springs, Emmetsburg, Estherville-Lincoln Central, Forest City, Garner-Hayfield-Ventura, Iowa Falls-Alden, Pocahontas Area, Sioux Central, South Hardin, and Spirit Lake at a windy 2A state qualifier.
Spirit Lake (184), Garner-Hayfield-Ventura (105), and Iowa Falls-Alden (89.5) took home team gold, silver, and bronze. The Eagles finished 10th with 18 total points.
There weren’t any individual qualifiers for the Eagles, but Patrick Heaton captured a pair of top-5 finishes in the 4×200 and open 200.
