Fred Allen Mullenax passed away at home on July 18, 2025, at the age of 86. Fred was born in West Virginia and raised in East Millsboro, Pennsylvania.
Fred resided on the East Coast with his wife Ellen and three children. Fred and Ellen moved to Iowa in 1982. Fred worked at Stronghold in Clarion until 2001 when he retired. Fred loved the ocean, swimming, traveling and music.
Fred is survived by three children David (Patty) Repass of Fort Dodge, Yvonne (Robert) Sanchez of Clarion, and Edward (Arleen) Mullenax of Clarion. Also 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Fred is preceded in death by 8 brothers and 1 sister, his parents James and Mary Mullenax, his wife Ellen Mullenax and son George Mullenax. Fred had a great sense of humor! He loved to laugh and smoke his cigars! He will be missed.
