The Athlete of the week for the week of Feb. 24 is Sigourney freshman Brynn Clarahan.
Clarahan was able to lead the scoring effort for the Savages in their Feb. 26 class 1A regional final game against Springville. Clarahan scored 16 points in a 65-44 defeat against Springville. In the first five minutes of the game Clarahan had scored all eight of the points for the Savages before scoring opened up for other players.
For the season Clarahan added 425 total points. She started in all 24 games for the Savages this winter.
