SIGOURNEY – Sigourney Elementary held an art show on March 6, featuring artwork from around 100 different elementary students. This is the fourth year the elementary has held an art show. “I always make sure that they bring something that I have not seen. So I ask them to bring something from either like 4-H or some other activity or home, because I want to see something I have not seen before…(There are no awards because) It’s just a show. I want to lift them creatively. I don’t want them to think it’s bad just because they didn’t win,” said Art Teacher Rebecca Shaw.
