Eagles boys track turns in fast times at BGM meet

BROOKLYN – Keota ran at the BGM meet on April 22. Overall the Eagles finished with 29 points to finish 13th overall. Iowa Valley won the meet with 183 points.

Ayden Galindo cleared 6-feet even to help him place second in the high jump event. Galindo was fourth in the long jump with a best leap of 19-feet-one-half-inch.

Blake Baker was fifth overall in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.76. Jacob Libe led the way in the 110 hurdles with a time of 18.01 to finish fifth. He also finished seventh in the 400 hurdles.

Keota finished second in the distance medley relay with a time of 4:00.41.

In the 4×400 relay the Keota team placed fifth.

Jack Greiner was sixth overall in the 800 meter run. In the 100 meter dash Brycen Horras was eighth overall.

Keota was sixth overall in the 4×200 relay. They added another sixth place finish in the sprint medley relay.
