The Athlete of the week for the week of June 2 is Sigourney senior, Josephine Moore.
Once again, Moore was strong on both sides of the diamond for the Savages.
Offensively Moore finished the week with three home runs, and a total of 10 RBIs on the week. That included one double and one single. Half of her total hit count on the week cleared a fence.
Moore was strong in the pitching circle as well. She struck out 26 batters, including a 10 strikeout game against Colfax-Mingo. She allowed just 14 total hits and 12 total runs to be scored against her.
