FFA Students Advance to State

CEDAR RAPIDS – At the Southeast FFA District Competition on March 7, several local students moved onto the state competition, which will be held in Ames from April 19-21.

Sigourney

Brayden Wood placed second in Ag Broadcasting and will move onto state.

Keota

Jack Greiner was elected as the Southwest Sub-District Vice President. Brennan McGuire received a Gold Rating and placed 2nd in Reporter’s Scrapbook; he will move on to state. Grayson Sprouse received a Silver Rating in Creed Speaking. Ayden Galindo, Garrett Greiner, Jack Greiner, Gavin Sieren and Jackson Vittetoe earned a Bronze Rating in Parliamentary Procedures. Jessalyn Aller, Drew Dodd, Emma Greiner, Will Greiner, Rowen Horning, Dacin Redlinger and Zoey Sieren earned a Bronze Rating in Conduct of Meetings. Jackson Vittetoe received a Bronze Rating in Secretary’s Book.

Tri-County

Eva Domenech received a Gold Rating and will move on to state in Spanish Creed Speaking. Ella Edmundson, Evee Kempf, Braxton Krumm and Carther Thomas received a Silver Rating in Ag Impact.
