PACKWOOD – Next year, Pekin will begin offering four-day-a-week preschool, operating Monday through Thursday. According to a press release, this is being done “to better serve families and meet growing demand, the district will provide two Preschool classrooms, allowing more children to access a high‑quality early learning experience within the district.”
“Our goal is to ensure every young learner has a strong start,” said Elementary Principal Aaron Deutsch. “Expanding to a four‑day model strengthens school readiness, supports consistent routines for students, and provides families with increased access to early childhood education.”
The press release recommends contacting the Pekin Elementary office for any questions.
