Bonny J. Weber, 85

KEOTA—Bonny J. Weber, age 85, formerly of Keota, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at The Gardens Assisted Living in Des Moines..
Bonny was born July 16, 1940, in What Cheer, to Godfrey and Verna (Rice) Allar and graduated high school.  On December 15, 1956, she married Robert L. Weber in Sigourney.  They lived in the Webster area before moving to Wellman in 1992.  They then moved to Keota in 2005.  Bonny was a part-time relief Postmaster in Webster for several years.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Kinross until it closed, then became a member of Holy Trinity Parish and the Altar and Rosary Society.  An excellent cook, Bonny enjoyed gardening, playing cards, praying the rosary and spending time with her family.
Survivors include six children: Debra (Jim) Bates of Urbandale, Paul (Ann) Weber of Ames, Randy (Cindy Albert) Weber of Sigourney, Alan (Rose) Weber of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Wendy (Brian) Eckhart of Windsor Heights and Jenny (Rob) Milligan of Clive; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one sister: Patty (Elroy) Fry of Moravia.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Robert; son: Ricky and four sisters: Margie (Pete) Tennyson, Eloise (John) Davis, Helene (Roy) Moser and Betty (Harold) Bruch.

Memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Holy Trinity Parish – St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with Rev. Charles Fladung officiating.  Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemeteries – St. Mary’s Cemetery in Keota.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church.
